A Mental Health Technician is a person who works with individuals who are being treated for mental health concerns to make sure their needs are met.
Mental Health Technicians are certified to provide a variety of services, including administering medication, admitting new patients, and leading therapeutic activities.
To become a Mental Health Technician, you must have a high school diploma or have taken and passed a General Educational Development (GED) Test and obtained 16 credit hours of training.
