This accredited continuing education activity is designed for behavioral health providers to include psychologists, advanced practice nurses, nurses, and licensed mental health therapists.


Dalia Ruvalcaba is a bilingual Spanish-speaking mental health therapist. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Dalia is the owner of Radiant Counseling, a private practice specializing in women’s mental health, and the founder of Therapists of Color Network (TOC), a resource dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the mental health field.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dalia is actively engaging with her community. She is devoted to providing valuable resources and educational initiatives that aim to destigmatize and normalize conversations surrounding mental health in the community. She is also committed to fostering connections with other therapists, building a supportive community that shares knowledge, experiences, and resources.


In support of improving patient care, University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.


The University of Nebraska Medical Center designates this activity for 1.0 ANCC contact hour. Nurses should only claim credit for the actual time spent participating in the activity.



Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. This activity has been approved for 1.0 credit hour of continuing education credit.
