The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska hosts its annual Hede’ Wachi Celebration, a four-day powwow (Aug 27-30) honoring the harvest and the fellowship of the people, with drum and dance contests, Native foods, and tribes from across the region. The celebration is open to the public.
