Annual Immunize Nebraska Conference

This annual conference equips health care professionals with the latest updates on immunization guidelines, vaccine policy, and public health partnerships. Now in its 23rd year, the conference is jointly provided by the Immunization Task Force Metro Omaha, Methodist Health System, CHI Health, Nebraska DHHS, and Creighton University.
This year’s agenda includes sessions on ACIP immunization updates, evolving vaccine policy, the measles outbreak landscape, hepatitis B and the importance of the birth dose, an HPV Task Force panel discussion, and statewide vaccine data from Nebraska DHHS.
Representatives from the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center will be presenting on the role of cancer screenings and vaccination in cancer prevention, including the HPV vaccine as a tool for reducing HPV-related cancers.
The conference is open to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, public health officials, fellows, residents, and students. Up to 5.25 CEUs are available. Registration fees vary by role ($50–$110).
