Flow Cytometry Shared Resource
Supported by the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center (FPBCC), the Flow Cytometry Shared Resource provides UNMC researchers and surrounding institutions with a central location for flow cytometry instrumentation and education.
Flow Cytometry Shared Resource Specific Aims:
- Provide Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center investigators with access to flow cytometry instrumentation and services.
- Provide expertise and comprehensive flow cytometry support to enhance collaborative development of assays and new applications guided by investigator needs.
- Provide education, training, and support to investigators in the experimental design, sample preparation, acquisition, analysis, and presentation of flow cytometry data.

Impact
The Flow Cytometry Shared Resource, located in Durham Research Center I, provides convenient access for 80% of FPBCC members.
The Core has supported 128 publications over the last four years and contributed to numerous research studies by offering high-speed cell sorting, data acquisition and analysis, as well as training and guidance in flow cytometry during data collection.
