Accreditation

CAP accredited

The goal of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Accreditation Program is to improve patient safety by advancing the quality of pathology and laboratory services through education, standard setting, and ensuring laboratories meet or exceed regulatory requirements.

We received our first CAP accreditation in 1977 and (through biennial inspections) have since remained among the exclusive group of laboratories worldwide that have met the highest standards of excellence.

CLIA certified

U.S. laboratories that perform genetic testing are regulated under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) program through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. CLIA certified laboratories are required to meet federal standards for quality, accuracy, and reliability of tests.
