Zhenya Tang, MD, PhD, FACMGG, is a professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's College of Medicine, in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology and the Director of the Warren G. Sanger Human Genetics Laboratory. Dr. Tang is a Fellow of the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and is board certified in Clinical Molecular Genetics and Genomics through the ABMGG. He received his medical degree in 1989 from Tongji Medical University in Wuhan, China and his PhD from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany in 1998.
