Teaching Activities:
Dr. Dong is currently pursuing teaching opportunities in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.

Research Activities/Interests:
Our research interests are in the discovery and development of new drug candidates against the parasitic diseases such as malaria, schistosomiasis, and trypanosomiasis. In addition, our research areas include design and synthesis of novel anticancer and antibacterial agents. Furthermore, our efforts are focused on development and optimization of chemical reactions and processes.
