Expert Training for the PharmD Degree — and Beyond

We prepare students as medication and drug therapy experts, from healthcare management to direct patient care in the clinical setting to discovering and developing new medicines in the lab.

As a pharmacy student at UNMC, you'll learn to apply your knowledge and develop professional skills, abilities and competencies with the guidance of supportive faculty and a close-knit community.

Our research focuses on all aspects of drug discovery, delivery, pharmaceutical and clinical and translation science, which is supported by a diverse community of graduate students.

License to Practice

Completion of the UNMC PharmD program will allow you to sit for the NAPLEX and MPJE licensure examinations.  Note that licensure requirements may vary by state.  Please check with that state's Board of Pharmacy for specific information.
