Nathan Sutera

Dr. Sutera is a UNMC clinical assistant professor and the pharmacy coordinator for psychiatric pharmacy at Nebraska Medicine. At Nebraska Medicine, Dr. Sutera practices within the adult Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) unit and as a member of the Nebraska Medicine Inpatient Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Team.

Dr. Sutera teaches in the first-year substances of abuse elective and in the psychiatry section of Pharmacotherapy IV during third year.

His primary clinical interest is the pharmacologic management of serious mental illness (SMI) including schizophrenia, major depression, and bipolar disorder. Included in this interest is a focus on long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIs).
