Dr. Trueman practices in ambulatory care at the Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. Her main focus area is the comprehensive management of all types of diabetes, including blood sugar management, addressing comorbid disease states and providing education and access to diabetes technologies. She also works with patients with other endocrine conditions, including panhypopituitarism and acromegaly. Her goal is to empower all patients to reach their therapeutic goals.
Received PharmD from the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions in 2019. Completed PGY-1 Residency in Community Pharmacy at Creighton in 2020 and PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency at Nebraska Medicine in 2021. She was the first resident to complete the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency.
Innovative practice models and models of care, including expanding the roles of support staff to meet patient care needs.
Dr. Trueman precepts 2-4 students each year on their fourth year rotations, along with didactic teaching about diabetes technology in the diabetes elective course. She regularly provides education to the ambulatory care pharmacy team, endocrine providers and staff.
