Bowel and Bladder Program

The Occupational Therapy Department offers services aimed at supporting safety and independence with daily living skills.

Our goal is to collaborate with families and children to develop a personalized therapy plan of care to best manage bowel and bladder functioning in a fun, child-centered, and engaging way!

What is included in a Pediatric Pelvic Health Plan of Care?

• A comprehensive evaluation.
• An individualized treatment plan.
• Education on completion of a Bowel and Bladder Log, water intake, and fiber intake.
• Sensory checklist.
• Tools, activities, visuals, and strategy ideas to enhance beginning stages of potty learning. 

Goal: Child-led independence in bowel and bladder management.
