Research Activities/Interests

Dr. Havens’ research interests include HIV prevention and treatment, medication adherence, antiretroviral pharmacokinetics and substance use disorders.

Teaching Activities

Dr. Havens lectures in the Infectious Diseases/HIV and Endocrine sections of Pharmacotherapy III and within the HIV elective. He is a preceptor for APPE HIV Clerkship and Nebraska Medicine PGY2 residents at the Specialty Care Center.
