Assistant Professor, UNMC Department of Dermatology

Georgeanne Cornell, DO

Georgeanne (Georgie) Cornell, DO is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist, originally from Columbia, Missouri, and excited to remain in the Midwest to practice.

Dr. Cornell graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City summa cum laude. She attended Kansas City University, summa cum laude, earning her Doctor of Osteopathy. As a postgraduate, she completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at University of Missouri-Kansas City followed by a residency in Ann Arbor, Michigan at Trinity Health Ann Arbor and Livingston. Dr. Cornell then pursued additional training at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri where she completed her dermatopathology fellowship.

Dr. Cornell is interested in skin cancer screening and prevention, papulosquamous dermatoses, and alopecia.
