Committees & Partnerships
It is our goal to help UNMC faculty members achieve excellence in teaching, research, leadership and scholarship.
To that end, the Office of Faculty Development leads the Career Development and Engagement Committee, which aims to enhance the professional development of all faculty, and indirectly impact students and residents.
The committee's mission is to foster a culture of engagement through sustained career development for early career, mid-career and senior faculty. Through the cultivation of leadership skills, educational collaboration and career development programs, the committee helps UNMC recruit, retain and promote its faculty.
Committee members meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month to discuss new ways to develop faculty skills and collaboration across campus. Committee member list.
