Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient services in our department are designed to provide flexible, family-centered support while children remain in their home, school and community settings.

Services are typically delivered through weekly or monthly appointments (approximately one to two hours per appointment) that focus on assessment, treatment development and ongoing caregiver coaching.

From the outset, caregivers are actively involved in shaping goals and priorities to ensure the plan is practical and meaningful in daily life.

Ongoing sessions emphasize hands-on coaching with caregivers. Our clinicians model strategies, guide practice and provide feedback in real time so caregivers can confidently implement interventions between visits. As treatment progresses, we focus on generalization across settings, problem-solving barriers and building sustainable routines that support long-term success.

The goal of outpatient services is to equip caregivers with the skills and confidence needed to support their child effectively outside of the clinic.
