Dr. Dian

Dr. Joshua Dian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Dian received his medical degree from the University of Calgary and residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Manitoba. Following neurosurgical residency training, he completed fellowship training in complex spine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Dian specializes in the comprehensive treatment of spinal disorders. His main clinical interests include degenerative disease of the spine, trauma, deformity, and oncology. He has a strong interest in minimally invasive approaches including spinal endoscopy.

Residency:  Neurological Surgery, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada 

Fellowship: Complex Spine, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 

 

Hospital Appointments:

Dr. Dian’s research interests include clinical outcomes of surgical treatment for spinal disorders and signal processing/machine learning techniques to monitor and guide treatment of traumatic brain and spinal cord injury.
