Mithun Sattur, MBBS

Mithun Sattur is assistant professor in neurosurgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  He is a board eligible neurosurgeon.  

Dr. Sattur was a neurosurgeon in India, having completed medical school with honors and neurosurgery residency there. After seven years of practice, he came to the United States for subspecialty fellowship training. He accomplished a one-year fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a 3-year fellowship in endovascular, cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Sattur then completed a second neurosurgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina towards certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.  His subspecialty interests include endovascular neurosurgery, skull base surgery and the cerebral venous circulation
