Dr. Putnam specializes in orthopaedic fracture care, care of the polytraumatized patient, fractures near or involving joints, fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, nonunions, and malunions. Additional research interests include studying how social support and access to care affect patient outcomes following trauma.
