Shagun Sharma, MD

I am a pediatric transplant hepatologist and gastroenterologist. I earned my medical degree from Indira Gandhi Medical College in Shimla, India, and subsequently completed pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, followed by advanced fellowship training in pediatric transplant hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. My research experience includes work on neonatal cholestasis, acute-on-chronic liver failure, hepatobiliary outcomes following viral infections, and biomarkers in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.
