I am an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska.  I received a BS of Biological Sciences and Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2002.  My MD and Medicine-Pediatrics residency were both completed at UNMC. After residency, I completed a four year combined adult and pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at UNMC in 2014.  My board certifications are in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adult Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.  I proudly serve as the program director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and Medical Director of Children’s Nebraska's Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.  I am also a volunteer physician at the Pediatric Tuberculosis Clinic at OneWorld Community Health Centers in Omaha, Nebraska.

My research interests are in antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and quality improvement.  I serve on the Children’s Nebraska's Infection Control Committee and the University of Nebraska Medical Center Infection Control Committee.
