Bryndis Grissom, DO
Assistant Professor, UNMC Department of Psychiatry
Dr. Grissom attended medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, drawn to the osteopathic philosophy of treating the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. Psychiatry naturally aligned with this approach, allowing Dr. Grissom to support people in navigating challenges, achieving their goals, and living fulfilling lives. She completed her psychiatry residency training at UNMC and is excited to continue working in the same settings where she trained. She currently works in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) and on the Consultation-Liaison (C/L) service in the hospital. She enjoys teaching, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and helping to provide compassionate, ethical and patient-centered care.
