Matthew Kelly, MD

Psychiatrist, UNMC Department of Psychiatry

Dr. Kelly is a Papillion native who graduated from the UNMC College of Medicine in 2015. He finished his UNMC Psychiatry Residency in 2024. After serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Kelly matched with UNMC in 2020. In 2021, Dr, Kelly was named Lasting Hope Recovery Center’s BHECN Resident of the Year for 2021. In the U.S. Navy, Dr. Kelly earned his aeromedical wings as a flight surgeon.

Dr. Kelly is an assistant professor.
