Matt Backer, MD

Dr. Backer’s academic interests include sports medicine imaging and spine/musculoskeletal interventional procedures.

Prior to joining the musculoskeletal section at UNMC, he worked in private practice for many years, as well as a variety of different practice settings.

Outside the world of radiology, Dr. Backer enjoys staying fit by trail running, hiking, or surfing. He also enjoys adventuring abroad.
