Rural Emergency Medicine Course

The Rural Emergency Medicine Course is an immersive, hands‑on educational experience designed to prepare clinicians for the unique challenges of practicing emergency medicine in rural settings. Led by board‑certified emergency medicine faculty, the course focuses on low‑frequency, high‑risk emergencies through practical skills labs, simulation, and case‑based learning. Participants gain confidence managing both adult and pediatric emergencies while practicing essential, lifesaving procedures in a realistic and supportive learning environment.

Critical Care Ultrasound Course

The Critical Care Ultrasound Course is a focused, hands‑on educational experience designed to strengthen point‑of‑care ultrasound skills essential to emergency medicine practice. Led by experienced emergency medicine ultrasound faculty, the course emphasizes practical image acquisition, interpretation, and clinical integration through skills labs, case‑based learning, and simulation. Participants gain confidence using ultrasound to guide decision‑making in critically ill and injured patients across a range of high‑acuity emergency scenarios.
