Resources

County Cancer Infographics

Provides a visual overview of cancer incidence and mortality across Nebraska's 93 counties, helping to identify regional disparities and potential community needs and plan evidence-based interventions.

Developing Resources

To meet the growing demand for large-scale, population-focused cancer research, CPC program is developing a Cancer Population Sciences Survey and Measurement Core. This resource will offer tools and support for:

  • Large-scale data collection
  • Survey design and implementation
  • Measurement science and evaluation methods

Pilot Grant Opportunities

The CPC program released a pilot grant RFA in January 2025, supporting up to four collaborative applications with a total funding of $200,000. These grants emphasize alignment with the Center's Strategic Plan priorities, focus on Nebraska's priority cancers, and encourage transdisciplinary collaboration across research themes, including rural health, obesity and nutrition, and precision prevention.

Research Funding Opportunities

Strategic External Partnerships

The program's external partnerships help amplify research capacity by providing access to complementary expertise and infrastructure through collaborations with leading national centers.
