We are expanding our M.D. program to rural Nebraska, through a joint project with the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Learn about the state-of-the art classrooms, extensive simulation spaces and clinical skills laboratories planned in the Douglas A. Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex.

Our medical degree program prepares you for success in primary care or specialty fields. We also offer dual degrees and Enhanced Medical Education Tracks.

Surgical skills training using simulators is available through the UNMC iEXCEL program.

Personalized, Flexible Training

In addition to large lectures, you'll be part of small group learning sessions where you'll examine patient scenarios, discuss relevant topics and practice your clinical skills on patient simulators. You can take part in summer research programs to enhance your ability to analyze information.
