Endodontics Residency
Our top-tier Endodontics Residency program uses a hands-on approach that develops exceptional diagnostic, clinical and critical thinking skills.
Why Specialize in Endodontics?
Endodontics is a rewarding and challenging specialty. Endodontic specialists receive advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of pain and infection of the tooth pulp (blood vessels and nerves). Using advanced technology, they perform complex non-surgical and surgical endodontic treatment, as well as manage and treat traumatic dental injuries. Patients go to an endodontist to relieve pain and save a tooth that would otherwise have to be extracted.
Why Choose UNMC for Your Endodontics Residency?
Our residents receive outstanding education and training in all aspects of endodontics in a program that combines clinical, didactic, research and community-based learning experiences.
The program is committed to providing a high standard of education for those pursuing careers in private practice and dental academia.
