Matthew Stephany, MD, was born in Omaha and raised in Gretna, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), earning degrees in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Stephany was on faculty at UNO in the Chemistry Department for three years before attending medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Dr. Stephany completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma, where he served as Chief Resident. He was given the resident teaching award for resident and medical student education there.
Dr. Stephany is a general dermatologist interested in transplant dermatology and cutaneous lymphoma. He is also the Medical Director of Medical Dermatology and a member of the clinic leadership team at Nebraska Medicine.
Dr. Stephany met his wife while attending UNMC, and they have two children. Dr. Stephany enjoys sports and travel.
