Funded Awards Program
Our program helps faculty shift to more interactive teaching models to better fit the learning style of today's students.
By engaging learners through these interactive modules, we aim to increase their retention and higher order thinking, ideally leading to improved patient outcomes.
In order to participate in the program, faculty and student teams must go through a competitive application process. While the majority of participants every year are new to the Funded Awards Program, there has been a consistent increase in the number of returning faculty and students — demonstrating those who participate recognize the value it brings to UNMC's curricula and students’ learning experiences.

Learn About the Program
With more than 125 projects funded, the E-Learning Program has helped hundreds of participants reimagine and retool UNMC curricula.
“Creating an e-module allowed me to provide a more interactive approach for students to learn foundational concepts. The feedback from students is that they appreciate the graphics, videos and audio that helped make the e-module organized and easy to follow. I certainly could not have created this e-module without the help of UNMC E-Learning.”

Faculty Director in Cohort 3 & 7, College of Pharmacy
