Funded Awards Program
Our program helps faculty shift to dynamic teaching models that better fit the learning style of today's students.
Engaging learners through interactive modules can help increase their retention and higher order thinking, ideally leading to improved patient outcomes.
Faculty and student teams must go through a competitive application process in order to participate. While many participants are new to the Funded Awards Program, many faculty and student participants also return year over year — demonstrating the value it brings to UNMC's curricula and students’ learning experiences.
Teams forming now!
Applications are now being accepted through Sunday, Oct. 5 at 11:59 p.m. CT. To apply, faculty must complete the online application form. Awardees will be notified by Oct. 31.
For a PDF copy of the application to review, email elearninglab@unmc.edu.
Learn About the Program
With more than 300 modules funded, the E-Learning Program has helped hundreds of participants reimagine and retool UNMC curricula.
“Creating an e-module allowed me to provide a more interactive approach for students to learn foundational concepts. The feedback from students is that they appreciate the graphics, videos and audio that helped make the e-module organized and easy to follow. I certainly could not have created this e-module without the help of UNMC E-Learning.”
