What does a Nebraska AHEC Scholar bring?
- Desire to work in rural and underserved communities
- A nationally recognized certificate in one of following:
- Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS)
- Mental Health First Aid
- Institute for Health Improvement - Basic Certification in Quality and Safety
- Recognition of the importance of interprofessional collaboration
- Understanding of healthcare needs in rural Nebraska
