Justin Birge, MD, MSc, FACP, FHM

Assistant Professor, Division of Hospital Medicine

Dr. Birge completed his residency and chief residency at Abbott Northwestern (Allina) Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a graduate of Creighton Medical School and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine.

Dr. Birge works as an adult hospitalist physician at Nebraska Medicine caring for adult patients requiring hospital-based care. He enjoys the teamwork and important relationship building needed to provide excellent hospital-based care. His role at Nebraska Medicine also includes the teaching of students and resident physicians, clinical informatics/health information technology and research.
