Dulce Maroni, PhD

Dr. Dulce Maroni is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dulce received a degree in veterinary medicine from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina, a masters of science in biology from Wichita State University, Wichita-Kansas; and a PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She completed her post-doctoral training at the UNMC Eppley Institute and the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center doing basic research in breast and pancreatic cancer.

Dr. Maroni joined the neurosurgery department in June 2020 as director of clinical research where she is dedicated to clinical study protocol development, study start up, IRB submissions, clinical trials coordination and regulatory compliance.
