Academic Success Coaching

The College of Nursing offers academic success coaching at each of our five divisions as well as for our online RN-BSN and graduate students. An Academic Success Coordinator (ASC) is available to help you find success during your time in the College of Nursing.

Success will look different for each student. Our Coordinators use a holistic approach when working with students to create individualized plans for success. You can meet with your ASC for assistance with success strategies, including: study skills, test taking, school/life balance, as well as navigating challenges in and out of the classroom. Your ASC is a go-to person on your campus for anything and everything related to your being successful at UNMC.

Our team offers expertise in student success, counseling, mental health support, career exploration, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and academic coaching. Credentials include advanced degrees, counseling licenses, and certifications in Mental Health, First Aid and Life Coaching.
