Dr. Marcela Pineda Molina is an obstetrician–gynecologist trained at Universidad Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala) and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center (Queens, NY). She provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients from diverse backgrounds. Fluent in English and Spanish, she specializes in menopause and vulvar disorders and emphasizes shared decision‑making.

Dr. Pineda has provided care to women from diverse backgrounds in various settings. After graduating from Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala, she worked as a house officer in a dedicated OB-GYN hospital and a large medical center in Guatemala.

She completed her residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York—one of the most diverse regions in the country—which enriched her experience and strengthened her ability to respect individual values and incorporate them into shared decision-making.

Dr. Pineda was previously employed at Cass Health where she provided full scope OB-GYN health care in a community hospital and three satellite clinics in rural Iowa. She promoted and expanded women’s healthcare services in southwest Iowa.
