Dr. Kathleen Moore is a professor with the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Deputy Director and Director of Phase I Clinical Trials with the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
Leadership
As Deputy Director of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and Director of Phase I Oncology Trials, Dr. Moore provides strategic leadership to expand access to innovative early-phase clinical studies and advance the center’s research mission. Her work focuses on strengthening investigator-initiated and translational research while accelerating the development of novel cancer therapeutics to improve patient outcomes.
Dr. Moore’s leadership supports the cancer center’s strategic priorities as it works toward National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center status. By enhancing the center’s national research profile and expanding access to cutting-edge clinical trials, she is helping ensure that patients in Nebraska and the surrounding region benefit from the latest advances in cancer care.
