Faculty Biography
Rebecca Rimsza, MD is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine physician and Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she also serves as Medical Director of Labor and Delivery. She specializes in high-risk obstetrics, prenatal ultrasound, and the management of medically and surgically complex pregnancies. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rimsza is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, with a focus on ultrasound training and labor management. Her research interests include patient education, intrapartum care, and improving neonatal outcomes, and she has authored several peer-reviewed publications on these topics. She participates in multiple hospital quality and safety committees and collaborates closely with general OB-GYNs, pediatric subspecialists, and family medicine providers across the region to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. She completed her MFM fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis and her residency at Saint Louis University.
