North Platte

Located just left-of-center in the state, Great Plains Health in North Platte, Nebraska, is a nonprofit, fully accredited, 116-bed regional referral center serving west Nebraska, northern Kansas, and northern Colorado.

The Great Plains Health system offers advanced medical services, including heart and vascular, cancer, orthopedic services, women's services, and a level III trauma center.

Midlands Family Medicine serves as the resident ambulatory continuity clinic.

North Platte is in west-central Nebraska at the confluence of the North Platte and South Platte Rivers on Interstate 80. It is only about a three-hour drive to Denver and the Rocky Mountains.
