The nationally recognized UNMC Family Medicine Residency Program offers positions in a variety of educational tracks designed to meet the needs of rural and urban Nebraska, as well as the United States Air Force.

Training opportunities for residents in this program are broad and include an academic health science center, military clinics, private offices, and community hospitals. This allows residents to experience training in any setting they may eventually practice.

Our tracks, outlined below, all work together in one collaborative program. The different tracks allow for specialization of training so that individual physicians can find their fit with any future practice goals.
