THRIVE Wellness Challenges
UNMC aspires to make movement and fitness integral components of our campus culture as we strive to become the healthiest health science institution in the country. Join the THRIVE Wellness Challenges and become part of the movement!
THRIVE is a catchy acronym that stands for Transforming Health and daily Routines by Inspiring Vitality in Everyone. The program’s goal is to inspire and empower participants to incorporate more activity into their daily routines, especially during the work or school day when people tend to sit for long periods of time. The program is free and open to members of the UNMC/Nebraska Medicine community, which includes students and employees as well as members of the Center for Healthy Living (CFHL). Participants do not need to be CFHL members to join the challenges.
THRIVE Wellness Challenges are planned throughout the academic year.
Spring 2026 THRIVE Challenge
This spring, you have a choice when participating in the latest THRIVE challenge:
- THRIVE, a traditional 5-week walking challenge
- THRIVE+, a 5-week walking and bodyweight exercise challenge

For either one, you'll receive an exercise plan to guide you through all five weeks.
Registration deadline is before midnight on Sunday, March 29. After registering, complete the daily challenges, and turn in your tracking sheet to the CFHL front desk to be entered into a drawing to win a prize.
