Research

Dr. Yeh studies retinal disease, uveitis, and ocular inflammation. He has also been actively involved in clinical trials assessing systemic immunosuppression for uveitis, as well as local methods of drug delivery – notably, the suprachoroidal drug delivery platform for uveitic macular edema.

Within the area of infectious uveitis, Dr. Yeh has studied Ebola, herpes virus, COVID-19 and emerging infectious diseases with program work in the United States, Sierra Leone and Democratic Republic of Congo. While studying infectious diseases in resource-limited settings, Dr. Yeh is particularly interested in addressing vision health disparities through capacity building and infrastructure development with local eye care partners, government and non-government stakeholders.
