Karen Wilson

Karen B. Wilson, OD, is an instructor in the UNMC Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. She is a native of Omaha and studied biology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before receiving bachelor's and doctor of optometry degrees from the Southern California College of Optometry.

She practiced optometry in Southern California and at a hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, before returning to Omaha in 2000. She joined UNMC in 2020, and also provides patient care through UNMC's primary clinical partner, Nebraska Medicine.
