What interested you most in UNMC?:

I love the dual nature of UNMC's program in that it merges both military medicine and civilian medicine. There are only a handful of programs like this in the country, so I really value the unique experiences I can get at UNMC compared to other military programs. I am absolutely stoked to be part of it!

What was your first job?:

Cook at gas station pizza store called Hot Stuff Pizza

What is the furthest you've traveled from Omaha?:

Arequipa, Peru

Career aspirations:

Full-scope rural medicine and FM-OB

If you couldn't work in medicine, what would you do?:

I'd want to be a big animal veterinarian working with ranchers and farmers.

If you only had one day in Nebraska, what would you do?:

Hit up Joe's cafe in Benson for some chicken fried steak, then head out to the lake in Ashland spending the day on the water. Then I'd come back to Old Market and and go to the Dubliner for a Guinness.

Most fond residency experience or memory up to this point?:

Bonding with my team during my first month of inpatient!
