Dr. Poole, a Nebraska native from Grand Island, received her Medical Degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Washington University at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis Missouri. She completed her Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at National Jewish Medical and Research Center/University of Colorado Health Center in Denver, Colorado.  Dr. Poole was named Chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology in 2020. Dr. Poole has authored numerous publications in the field of allergic and nonallergic respiratory disorders.  She has been seeing patients at Nebraska Medicine’s Durham Outpatient Center since 2005.
