Dr. Dunbar Matos

Dr. Dunbar Matos is from southern West Virginia. She did her internal medicine and general cardiology training at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania. Her advanced heart failure training was completed at the University of Louisville.

She is an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Dunbar Matos helps care for patients with advanced heart failure as well as Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs) and heart transplants. She also works with cardiology fellows and provides education related to advanced heart failure.
