Scott Lundgren, DO, MS
Assistant Professor, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine
Dr. Lundgren is originally from Shenandoah, Iowa. He completed his undergrad at the University of Iowa and medical school at Des Moines University before coming to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for his internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, and advanced heart failure fellowship.
He helps take care of a range of heart failure patients, from patients with preserved ejection fraction to those in cardiogenic shock or needing advanced heart failure therapies. Dr. Lundgren's time is split during the workweek to include inpatient and outpatient care, echocardiography, heart catheterizations, trainee mentoring, and teaching.
