Alexander Hewlett, DO

Dr. Hewlett is a gastroenterologist with clinical interests in gastrointestinal motility disorders, colon cancer screening and prevention, Eosinophilic esophagitis, and gastrointestinal reflux. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is the associate program director for the gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

His career interests include gastrointestinal motility disorders, eosinophilic esophagitis, QI initiative, colon cancer screening and high-quality, low-cost medical care. His personal interests include outdoor activities, baseball, spending time with his children and wife, and gardening.
