Nathan Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson was born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska, and completed his undergraduate studies at Nebraska Wesleyan University. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center for medical school, and he did his Internal Medicine training and chief resident year also at UNMC.

Dr. Anderson is a general internist and academic hospitalist. He is also the clerkship director for all third-year medical students who rotate through Internal Medicine during their clinical clerkship year. He spends about half of his time in clinic and the other half in the hospital. He is passionate about medical student and resident teaching and education and usually has a medical student working with him.

Dr. Anderson's wife is a pediatric hospitalist at Children's Nebraska in Omaha and they have two young children who keep them busy.

 

Career Interests: Internal medicine clerkship director, POCUS. I’m a general medicine ‘hybrid’ – I spend half my months in clinic and the other half as a hospitalist.

Personal Interests: Running, biking, grilling, spending time with family, traveling, wakeboarding/water skiing
