Joseph Dougherty, MD

Dr. Joseph Dougherty was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed Internal Medicine residency training at UNMC and an additional year as Chief Resident for the Internal Medicine residency program at the Omaha VA Medical Center. Dr. Dougherty is now a hybrid general internist and spends half of his time in primary care clinic and the other half as a hospitalist.
