Dr. Steve Ebers

Dr. Ebers is a Med-Peds hospitalist who joined the University of Nebraska Medical Center faculty in 2021. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, followed by medical school at UNMC. He then went on to complete an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at UNMC, including a year as Chief Resident at the Omaha VA Medical Center.

Mentoring

Dr. Ebers is a career mentor. His career interests include combined adult and pediatric hospital medicine, outpatient internal medicine, and supporting transitions of care for medically complex children and adolescents as they enter adulthood. His personal interests include spending time with his wife and three children, outdoor activities such as playing sports, camping and fishing, gardening and home fermenting, including fermented foods, sourdough and brewing.
